ACE FUNDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A NATIONAL TOUR TO UK HIGH STREETS

Keep On Keepin’ On has secured further investment from Arts Council England to mount its first tour! This vital funding will enable the production to reach audiences across the country, sharing its powerful story and vibrant Northern Soul spirit with new communities.

It's a play about now, family and love, about people struggling to keep it together in these dark and straitened times at the working-class coalface of dysfunctional northern Britain. That’s why we want to bring it to high street spaces rather than traditional theatre venues.

During the summer of 2019, The Old Courts in Wigan supported playwright, Mick Martin, to develop and rehearse his brand new show exploring the North’s enduring love affair with Northern Soul in their Apex space.
